Support Renters, Support a Deposit Protection Scheme

When you give your landlord a deposit, there’s no guarantee when, or even if, you’ll get it back. Will it be returned in a week, six weeks, or never?

A Deposit Protection Scheme (DPS) would mean deposits are lodged with an independent third party ensuring their prompt return at the end of a tenancy unless a bona fide issue arises.
