National housing charity Threshold have announced that they will be resuming their monthly Outreach Clinic in Castlebar, following a closure of the clinic due to Covid-19 in February 2020. The first clinic will be held on Wednesday April 20th and will resume every third Wednesday of the month in Castlebar’s Citizen’s Information Centre.
Threshold’s Outreach Clinics give tenants the opportunity to meet an expert Threshold housing advisor in-person and avail of advice on any private rental issues they may be experiencing, including notice of tenancy terminations, rent increases, arrears and concerns regarding accommodation standards.
Threshold’s Western Services Manager, Karina Timothy said: “It’s fantastic to have the opportunity to reopen the Outreach Clinic in Castlebar. We welcome the chance to meet and advise those with queries on housing and rental issues. We strongly encourage anyone who has any concerns to get in touch and make an appointment to attend an Outreach Clinic.”
The Castlebar Clinic will require appointments and will operate from 10am to 1pm, and 2pm to 4:30pm. To book an appointment, call Castlebar Citizen’s Information Centre on 0818 076 040, or contact Threshold’s Freephone on 1800 454 454.
